Welcome to Artisan Hub. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our online marketplace as a freelancer or business (“Service Provider,” “you”) offering services such as makeup artistry, photography, mehndi artistry, nail artistry, and related services to our customers (“Users,” “Customers”).
By registering as a Service Provider on Artisan Hub, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the platform.
1. Registration and Account Responsibilities
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Service Provider.
You must have the skills, experience, and legal right to provide the services you list, including any licenses or registrations required by law.
1.2 Account Creation
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, contact details, and service details, and keep this information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
1.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, provides false or misleading information, receives repeated Customer complaints, or otherwise puts Users or the platform at risk. Where reasonable, we will give notice before taking such action.
2. Service Listings and Bookings
2.1 Service Descriptions
All service descriptions, pricing, and availability must be accurate and current.
You must not misrepresent your skills, qualifications, or past work, and you may only display work that is genuinely your own.
2.2 Booking Confirmation
Once a booking is confirmed, you are expected to honour the agreement with the User.
Cancellations should occur only in exceptional circumstances. If you must cancel or reschedule, notify both the User and the platform immediately.
2.3 Prior Notice and Plan of Execution
Before delivering a service, you must inform the platform of the agreed scope, process, and plan of execution for the booking.
If anything changes, or if any unforeseen or unfortunate situation arises before or during a booking, you must inform the platform promptly so it can be managed appropriately.
2.4 Timeliness and Professional Conduct
You must be punctual and conduct yourself professionally at all times.
You agree to treat Users with respect and to deliver services to a high standard.
3. Payments and Fees
3.1 Commission and Service Fees
The platform charges a commission or service fee for facilitating bookings. The applicable percentage or fee will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
3.2 Payouts
Payouts are processed according to the platform’s payout schedule and method.
You must provide accurate banking or payment details to receive payouts. We are not responsible for payments delayed or misdirected due to incorrect details you provide.
3.3 Refunds and Disputes
If a User disputes a service, the platform may withhold the relevant payment until the matter is resolved. Refunds, where applicable, will follow the platform’s refund policy in force at the time.
4. Service Quality and User Feedback
4.1 Maintaining Service Standards
You must deliver services as described and as agreed with the User.
Poor service, frequent cancellations, or misconduct may result in account suspension or termination.
4.2 Documentation and Client Consent
Any documentation of services, including photographs, videos, or recordings, must be carried out only with the prior consent of the client.
You must respect each client’s wishes regarding how their images or details are captured, stored, and shared.
4.3 User Reviews and Ratings
Users may leave reviews and ratings based on their experience.
You may respond to feedback professionally, but you must not harass, intimidate, or pressure clients regarding their reviews.
5. Compliance and Legal Obligations
5.1 Local Laws and Regulations
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, licenses, permits, and tax obligations relating to the services you provide.

Disputes should first be addressed directly with the User.
If no resolution is reached, the platform may, at its discretion, mediate, but it is not legally obligated to do so.
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of India, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India.
7. Intellectual Property and Content Usage
By listing your services, you grant Artisan Hub a non-exclusive right to use your images, descriptions, and promotional content to market your services on and through the platform.
You must not use copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise unauthorized content in your listings, and you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to any content you upload.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will make the revised Terms available on the platform, and your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
